It’s Android, what did you expect?
Yawn…
Orange don’t mess with HTC phones – At least not in my experience.
I had a HTC Desire with them 2 years ago, and it wasn’t polluted with ANY Orange software. The ONLY time I know I was with Orange was because I had an Orange SIM.
The phone itself was actually SIM free.
I have JUST replaced it with the HTC One X and that’s exactly the same – NO Orange overlay.
As soon as I connected my phone to my WiFi, it told me an update was available, and I installed this latest firmware.
No problems at all!
No idea if it’s improved anything though, as I only know the initial firmware for about 15 mins! LOL.
One thing I can say though, is that this HASN’T fixed the dodgy WiFi connection problem.
Only way seems to enable a certain checkbox within the WiFi advanced settings (which apparently uses more battery).
Thanks rich… just. Got my update through finally. Seems to have bricked my phone it looks like
